Default Help me to correct it!! plz

Nowadays, because of climate changes that lead to many disasters, such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and especially storms, etc. There are so many kinds of storms: blizzards, cyclones, dust evil, thunderstorms, windstorms, tornadoes and hurricanes. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the differences between tornadoes and hurricanes. The four main differences are formation, location, prediction, devastation.

The most notable difference between these two kinds of storms is their formation. Tornadoes are nature’s most violent storms and also called twisters, they are formed over land during thunderstorms, when a column of rapidly circling air forms under a thunderstorm and extends down to the ground. Hurricanes also called typhoons or tropical cyclones, depending on where they form, hurricanes are very large storms, the eye of a hurricane is an area in the middle about 16 to 64 kilometers (or 10 to 40 miles) wide, calm, no rain or clouds.

Comparing both types of storms we notice another difference. There is the location that is the place where they are formed and the time when they appear. Tornadoes are common in the Midwest and southern states of the United States, Australia and Bangladesh. They occur in the spring and early summer, the afternoon and early evening. Hurricanes form over water, over the Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian oceans near the equator, usually in summer or late fall when the ocean water is warm. After forming they then move south or north, toward the poles.

Yet another difference between two kinds of storm is the prediction. Tornadoes form quickly without warning so they are very hard to predict, authorities may post a tornado watch or tornado warning. A tornado watch means that tornadoes are possible because strong thunderstorms, a tornado warning means that tornadoes have been seen in the area. Hurricanes take from three or fourteen days to form so that they can be tracked with satellite and radar but it is difficult to predict path because the change direction several times while traveling 6400 kilometers (or 4000 miles).

The final difference of two cases of storms is the devastation. Tornadoes with winds reaching 480 kilometers (or 300 miles) per hour and lasting up to an hour, they can uproot trees, lift cars, and damage buildings. Most hurricanes die out slowly as they move over cooler water, and never hit land. But the hurricanes come to shore can be extremely destructive with winds reaching up to 320 kilometers (or 200 miles) per hour just around the eye, they can cause flooding from rain and a lot of wind damage.

Here are the main four differences between tornadoes and hurricanes. As we can see they are so devastating and difficult to predict, the only thing we can do to limit the number of storms is trying to stop the global warming by raising the awareness of people. Therefore it is important that you consider yourself when you do something that affects our Earth.

Follow this structure to write your essay.

    Introduction
Your introduction — like the five-paragraph-essay, should open generally (with a quotation, anecdote, generalization), and lead into the thesis statement.

    Topic 1
This next portion of your essay (which may consist of one paragraph or several) should cover only the first topic of the comparison and contrast. Compare/Contrast essays take two topics and illustrate how they are similar and dissimilar. Do not mention topic 2 in this first portion.

    Topic 2
This next portion of your essay (which may also consist of one or more paragraphs) should cover the second of the two topics. Do not discuss Topic 1 in this section. Since you have already gone into great detail about it, you may allude to Topic 1 briefly; however, do not analyze Topic 1 in this section. This portion of the paper is to discuss Topic 2 in great detail.

    Topics 1 and 2 Together
Now that you have analyzed both Topic 1 and Topic 2 independently, now it is time to analyze them together. This section may also be one or several paragraphs.

    Conclusion
The conclusion — like the introduction — should be a generalization of the thesis. This paragraph should express your certainty and absolute knowledge on the subject matter. You should reaffirm your thesis (essentially restate it in new words) and show how you've proven it.

Another structure to write your essay
    Introduction
Your introduction — like the five-paragraph-essay, should open generally (with a quotation, anecdote, generalization), and lead into the thesis statement.

All Comparisons (Topics 1 and 2)
This section — which should consists of several paragraphs — should go through all similarities you find in the two topics on which you are writing. There should be at least three comparisons (essentially three short body paragraphs) in which you give an example from both topics of comparisons in each.

All Contrasts (Topics 1 and 2)
This section — which should consist of several paragraphs — should go through all differences you find in the two topics on which you are writing. There should be at least three contrasts (essentially three short body paragraphs) in which you give an example from both topics of comparisons in each.

    Conclusion
This conclusion is wrapping up everything you have just proven in your paper. It should restate the thesis in a new, more official way, and you should feel quite confident in your writing.

So far thanhngoan only write about contrast, NONE about COMPARISON. Pick one of the structures above then write. Hope this'll help you.

Tornadoes and hurricanes are more common than the other storms. There are some similarities and differences between them.

One obvious similarity is that they both are devastating. Tornadoes winds reaching 480 kilometers (or 300 miles) per hour and lasting up to an hour can uproot trees, lift cars, and damage buildings.
