My version:

I will phone you when it finish. Ok?

To Ivy Nguyen: I think that using present perfect tense there will not express the right time his friend mentioned.
My version:

I will phone you when it finish (1)--. Ok?

To Ivy Nguyen: I think that using present perfect tense there will not express the right time his friend mentioned (2).
1. S/B finishes.
    2. Let's put it this way to avoid long and grammatically incorrect sentences(direct talk):
You should use the present tense instead.
