Help me translate these, please

Hi everybody,
I'm a new member, happy to find this website and try it to translate from Vietnamese to English 2 little poems that have been in my mind for long time (and which I regret to forget the Authors).

But they came out so funny. The first one:

Em yêu dấu, mắt buồn như lá chết
Sao không cười cho vỡ hết pha lê

Translated to:

Beloved eyes sad as she leaves dead
Why not break out laughing for crystal

And the second one:

Có những lúc trên đờng đời tấp nập
Ta vô tình đã đi lướt qua nhau
Mắt lơ đễnh nào ngờ đang để mất
Một tâm hồn ta đợi đã từ lâu

Translated to:

There at the busiest street life
I accidentally went surfing through different
Eyes imprudent to take any NGOs are
A soul we have long waiting

It made me laugh like crazy; especially "NGOs" . I guess because our Vietnamese is rich and beautiful. It's not easy to translate a poem or a song to others languages

Anybody can translate those poems to English will be given a million thanks
And if anybody know who are the Authors of them, will also be greatly appreciated

Since poetry ain't my cup of tea, here goes nothing:

Em yêu dấu, mắt buồn như lá chết
Sao không cười cho vỡ hết pha lê
My dearest, with glazed eyes
Wouldn’t you break out that glass-shattering laughs of yours

And the second one:

Có những lúc trên đờng đời tấp nập
Ta vô tình đã đi lướt qua nhau
Mắt lơ đễnh nào ngờ đang để mất
Một tâm hồn ta đợi đã từ lâu
There were time on the path of our lives
So busy that we passed each other by
Obliviously to the thing that means most
A soul mate that waited for all of us


Also sounded funny, but what the heck

I like "So busy that we passed each other by"

May I have some suggestion

There were time on the path of our lives
So busy that we passed each other by
Unknowing to the one that means most
A soul mate we have long waiting though

Can "though" stay there to rhyme with "most"?

Do you think Bùi Minh Quốc wrote this poem?
Can I read more about him somewhere?
