For those who do not live in Vietnam, have you experienced discrimination?

you mean racial discrimination? you have to be specific, man because there are a lot of discrimination in America-the melting pot. Well, I personally never experienced discrimination directly to my face but i saw it everywhere i go. i saw it on the media all the time. We, Asian living in America was perceived to be aliens. Worse, if we are guys, we have many stereotypes and being most discriminated against.
I live in the Northwest so things are going fine for me, in fact i has been dating this white girl for 5 months and we are getting pretty serious. Everything is cool except i just don't like the way her cousins look at me. I really don't care because they are just bunch of highschool jocks.
There are laws to protect equal rights for everybody but what people still will definnitely discriminate against other race. Through my experience it is all because we people don't even try to get out of their own confort and are ignorant toward other races. I was so ignorant toward white people before i met her.
Racial discrimination was not only from white to other races but races discriminate toward each other.

"Phân biệt đối xử" thì ở đâu cũng có. Ngay cả trong cùng 1 gia đình cũng vậy, đứa con ngoan thì dĩ nhiên được tin yêu hơn đứa con lì lợm phải không?! chứ huống hồ gì mình là "người tị nạn" chớ. Đứng ở gốc đô khác, nếu VN là nước cho người ngoại quốc tị nạn thì chắc gì không khổi "tỵ hiềm phân biệt". Thôi thì hãy cố bỏ qua những chuyện không hay mà làm "đứa con ngoan" không thẹn với lòng và cũng không lụy cái thân vậy
