Retired Special Forces officer and Intelligence Analyst with forty-five years of government service, much of it overseas, with a Juris Doctor degree. I have been been published intermittently since 1973, mostly professional and historical articles. My first novel; The Dega, set among the Highland Tribes of Vietnam was published in 2011 by Hellgate Press and received first place for unpublished historical fiction in the 2010 Florida Writer's Assn. Royal Palm Literary Awards competition. Currently finishing up a novel set among the Khmer Krom of Tri Ton District in the 1940s-60s. Plan on a third novel set in the Vietnam War depicting the nationalist side from the point of view of a Catholic officer originally from Phat Diem and a Buddhist officer from the Mekong Delta.
